The second game in the highly popular Arkham series continues on pretty much where Arkham Asylum left off. The Joker has evaded capture, despite his severe beating at the hands of the Dark Knight. A new threat has arisen in the form of Dr. Hugo Strange. Strange has managed to get a whole section of Arkham City cordoned off and has filled it with criminals and pretty much anyone he can lay his hands on.

The game starts with Bruce Wayne giving a speech about why the new 'asylum' is not a good idea before he promptly gets kidnapped by Stranges' men. He awakes with Strange talking to him and then the doctor drops a huge bombshell.....he knows that Bruce Wayne and Batman are one and the same!

 

The Dark Knight then embarks on a quest to stop Hugo Strange implementing the mysterious Strategy 10 and encounters a huge array of different enemies, including, The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, The Penguin, The Mad Hatter and many more besides.
